After a long winter, any island with sand, water and a decently executed Mai Tai sounds like the best island in the world. But if you’re  really serious about relaxation, then head to one of these destinations for a  digital detox you’ll never forget.

On Tuesday,  TripAdvisor released winners for the  2015 best islands in the world as part of its annual  Travelers’ Choice Awards. These warm, sandy beauties won for the quantity and quality of their TripAdvisor reviews during the past year, according to spokeswoman Julie Cassetina.
Providenciales — an island in  Turks and Caicos — snagged the top spot, moving up from its second-place position last year. The island’s  miles of shoreline include Grace Bay, which has been hailed as the  best beach on Earth.
Mainstream favorites like  Maui and  Santorini also made the list, along with up-and-coming destinations like  Roatan, Honduras, and  Fernando do Noronha, Brazil.
