I have been posting many articles about Indonesian airlines like Garuda Indonesia, Mandala, Batavia Air, Lion Air, Kartika Air, but never this die-hard Merpati Airlines. I will post more about this in GNFI next entries (pealse remind me and stay tune).

Well, Merpati Airlines, a state-owned airline, is mostly operating in the eastern part of Indonesia. They said that it was in the process of signing deals worth as much as $63 million for eight French-made ATR-72 passenger planes. Someday, I wanna be onboard of ATR. It is said to be very comfy.

Excuse me, I think there will be no ATR72 or something.
Because Dirgantara Indonesia claimed Merpati Airlines to use their N250.
But, I don’t know is it right or not.

Merpati has been long grounded N250, and cancelled using China’s Xian. It is now acquiring ATR-72-500.
Thank you
